Systems. Change. Educators. Unite. (SCEU) events for April/May 2026

'Cause I don't wanna miss a thing (sung Aerosmith style)

There is SO much going on at Systems. Change. Educators. Unite. (SCEU) right now that we thought we'd try out a video format for debriefing the upcoming offerings..... check it out!

(And no, the retreat rooms are not "almost awful." They are luxurious and lovely but they are indeed "almost all full." Sometimes it's more fun to keep the caption mistakes, awful or not :-))

I am so excited about our upcoming offerings! It looks like our next session on April 28th with Jannik Kaiser on Theory of Systems Change and Impact Garden was cut - eek! It will be a provocative session where we consider that the mainstream model of Theory of Change might not be cut out for complexity and maybe we need a Theory of Systems Change and Theory of Contribution instead. Join us!

The next day (29th of April) we have another eagerly anticipated call with Neil Theise (FYI it is NOT the 30th - don't believe the lady in the video!), followed by another session with the incredible Rob Ricigliano on May 7th which I bet you might be excited about too. Our book club session on Donella Meadow's book, Thinking in Systems, is on May 13th with a debrief from Marta Ceroni. The next day, May 14th, Daniel R. Hires 🌍 will help us think about Inner Development as part of our systems and complexity journeys and finally, on May 18th, Grandmother Láné Sáan Moonwalker will do a 6 month check-in with us almost exactly 6 months since she helped us launch SCEU.

You can find ALL of our upcoming sessions here.
If you are not yet an SCEU member but you are thinking “My goodness, I need to be!” you can do that here.
And our retreat info is here.

If you can't make it to the UK in July know that we are looking to do a number of other exciting in-person events in the coming year including the potential of a Cape Town event in October, a gathering at Georgia Tech with Dori Pap and her team in March 2027, a potential systems learning journey exploring water systems in Morocco with Natalie Coers in May, and a potential nature-as-complexity-teacher earth based learning journey in Canada's Kootenay mountains in August with Troy Patenaude. Sooooo much goodness coming up! Hope to see you somewhere in that goodness!
